Geehrter, lieber Herr Dr Jonas!

Dear Dr. Jonas,

I was not yet able to forward your essay1 (which I am hastily having circulated here, just to draw attention to your book2) to Mr. van Hoboken,3 because his current address is unknown to me. Since I learned that he left the place in southern France and flies to Holland before visiting Vienna at the end of October, it is again impossible for me to forward him the two issues, as I do not know his Dutch address—unless I take the detour by way of {recto} Munich. Shall I do that or wait until he arrives?

With best greeting,
Yours,
[ sign’d: ] H. Schenker
