Handwritten letter from Schenker to Jonas, dated December 9, 1930
Sehr geehrter Herr Dr Jonas!

Handwritten letter from Schenker to Jonas, dated December 9, 1930
Dear Dr. Jonas,
Let it be confirmed that you were my student several years ago, and were subsequently the student of my best student, Dr. Hans Weisse, who spoke of you with praise. What you depict in your letter as the core of my theory supports the expectation that you have become familiar enough with it to introduce the theory to others as well.
Yours very truly,
[ sign’d: ] H. Schenker
