Dear Dr. Jonas,

Prof. Dr. W. Altmann,1 Berlin-Friedenau, Lauterstrasse 38II thoughtfully thanks me as well for your book, and requests me on this occasion to have you send him notes about yourself for the Tonkünstler-Lexikon to be republished shortly.

I hope you survived Hoboken2 well; I had the two of them with me 3¼ hours and suffered a bad night because of it. Well, watch out! Best greetings from us both,

Yours,
[ sign’d: ] H. Schenker

[vertically in left margin:]
He also asked about Dr Salzer’s3 notes, about which I will write [him?].
