Wenn es irgend möglich ist,¹ mir in Bälde die ganz wenigen restierenden letzten Fahnen zukommen zu lassen, so wäre ich dafür ganz besonders verpflichtet! Ich habe die dringendsten Gründe,² vor Juli mit den Halbband fertig zu werden. Nochmals bestens im Vorhinein³ dankend

I should be greatly indebted to you if there were¹ any possibility of your arranging for the last handful of remaining galley proofs to be sent to me in the near future. I have the most pressing reasons²being finished with the half-volume by July. Once again thanking you in advance³,
