Sehr geehrter Herr !

Bei den weiteren Correcturen stoße ich auf einen Lapsus des H. Setzers, der die Marginalrubriken vertauscht. In dem heute an Sie abgeschickten u. mit „Imprim.“ versehenen Bogen 6 findet sich bei § 30 eine Marginalrubrik, die zu § 38 gehört.¹ Haben Sie die Freundlichkeit dem H. Setzer anzuweisen, bei § 30 die M-rubrik von § 38|² d.i. „Ursachen der lang andauernden Geltung u. des schließlichen Unterganges der Kirchentonarten“ zu setzen?

Dear Sir,

Among the remaining proofs, I came across a slip on the part of the type-setter, who has mixed up the marginal rubrics. In gathering 6, sent off to you today marked “imprimatur”, there is a marginal rubric at § 30 that belongs to § 38.¹ Would you be so kind as to instruct the type-setter to set at § 30 the marginal rubric of § 38,² i.e. “Reasons for the Longevity of the Church Modes and their Ultimate Demise”?
