Lieber Herr Professor v. Cube!

Herr Voss1 finally wrote to me a few days, to say that he will come to Vienna; he is clinging to the idea of courses because he does not have sufficient means2, etc. He expressed this most painful admission with touching dignity, and so I replied that he may come: the subject matter can only be transmitted orally, and I would do my best. Now you, too, know the further course of things.

With best greetings from me and my wife,
Yours,
[ sign’d: ] H. Schenker
