[...] einen Stelle “noch will ich nicht das letzte Wort gesprochen haben“¹ an der anderen, u. schließlich verstand ich unter Nichtvergebung des Stipendiums an der gleich darauffolgenden Stelle nur die fallsweise, sowie sie schon auch die Erblasserin in Uebereinstimmung mit meinen Anschauugen ins Auge gefasst hat. Ich behalte mir somit nach meinen Erfahrungen die weiteren Entschlüsse vor. Für all Ihre übrigen Mitteilungen besten Dank. Hochachtungsvoll

[...] [from?] the one passage “I do not wish to have spoken the last word yet”¹ to the other, and I finally understood by failure to hand over the stipend in the passage following immediately after that only the [...?], as well as it has envisaged also the deceased in agreement with my outlook. In view of my experiences, I accordingly reserve further decisions. Many thanks for all your other communications. With kind regards,
