Sehr geehrter Herr Direktor !

Dear Director,

In anticipation that I shall, all being well, have a break following the impending publication of the first half-volume of my Counterpoint,1 I take the liberty of asking you once again to try to exert a little pressure on the printers. Perhaps it will be possible for me to get hold of at least the first part of the proofs2 around the middle of this month.

With best wishes,
Yours truly,
