| Designing or Selecting Affective, Social-Emotional, Personality and Behavioral Assessments in User Paths |
|
We started by acknowledging that several constructs in Paths 2-6 are preexisting, naturally occurring characteristics of the population that cannot be scored as as correct or incorrect. Attitudes, social-emotional behaviors, perceptions, and similar affective variables are the common focus of assessment. Although cognitive variables, such as aptitudes and achievement are also assessed, the particular uses of results in Paths 2- 6 makes these assessment applications distinct from uses in User Path 1.
