Quantitative Evaluation of Validity and Reliability

Reliability theory assumes that the scores would be influenced by random factors. Concepts of classical reliability theory, such as True Scores, Observed Scores, and Error were presented to show how the two major indices of reliability, Standard Error of Measurement (SEM) and the Reliability Coefficient, rxx', are derived.
