Five shuttle services are provided to Columbia University students, staff and faculty contracted through Academy Bus:
Accessibility
The Intercampus Shuttle is fully ADA-compliant. The Evening Shuttle route is serviced exclusively by
ADA-compliant Public Safety buses.
Community
Columbia University provides free shuttle bus service for the elderly and disabled (as well as their attendants) via the ADA-accessible Intercampus Shuttle. The shuttle connects 96th Street,the Morningside campus, the Medical Center, and Harlem Hospital with stops at the following locations near subway stations:
- Columbia University Medical Center
- Harlem Hospital
- 125th Street
- 116th Street
- 96th Street
The service runs Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, excluding state and federal holidays.

Services
Shuttle service is available to all Columbia University affiliates with a valid University ID, free of charge. Shuttle services between the Medical Center, Fort Lee and the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal are also available, but limited to authorized Columbia personnel and students for approved University use.Drivers are not permitted to deviate from the posted schedule or the designated pick-up and drop-off locations. Restrooms are not available on the shuttles.Shuttle Buses
The Intercampus route is serviced by both Columbia University-branded buses and Academy coach buses. The Lamont, GWB and Ft. Lee routes are serviced exclusively by Academy coach buses.
The Morningside Heights Evening Shuttle route is serviced exclusively by ADA-compliant Public Safety buses.
