The Intercampus Shuttle connects the ADA-accessible 96th Street subway station with the Morningside campus, the Medical Center, Manhattanville locations, and Harlem Hospital.

NEW - SmartTrack: Rider Count System

Effective April 9, 2012, all Intercampus Shuttle buses will be outfitted with a SmartTrack: Passenger Intelligence Rider Count System. This system will allow the Transportation department to capture accurate ridership data for the shuttle in real-time, which will help improve service and ensure that access to the shuttle bus is limited to only the intended ridership.

When you enter any Intercampus Shuttle bus, you'll notice a Columbia ID card reader just above the yellow entry grab rail on your right (see image below). As a rider, you simply need to place your valid Columbia ID card about 1"-2" in front of the reader. When you hear the beep, proceed and take your seat.

              

 

Accessibility

The Intercampus Shuttle is fully ADA-compliant. The Evening Shuttle route is serviced exclusively by ADA-compliant Public Safety buses.

*Important Note: Time in italics on schedule indicates soft stop. Shuttle only stops upon request or if passenger is waiting. Shuttles can depart early and may not stop if passengers are not waiting. Be at stop 3 minutes before scheduled time.

Shuttle Buses

The Intercampus route is serviced by both Columbia University-branded buses and Academy coach buses. 

 

Notes

The Intercampus shuttle operates Monday - Friday, excluding University holidays.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All riders must present a valid University ID upon boarding the Shuttle.

Please keep in mind that shuttle times are approximate and are subject to traffic.
