Awareness on campus
CSAP aims to spread awareness of animal rights and animal welfare issues on campus and provide information for people to learn about the issues, solutions, and alternatives.

Tabling
We regularly table in Lerner Hall during the weekdays. You will find CSAP's table covered with leaflets, brochures, stickers, petitions, CDs, and other print material that students can take with them. We carry literature on prevalent and current issues and campaigns, such as how to start a vegetarian diet, buying cruelty-free products, vivisection, and factory farming. -
Postering
CSAP posts flyers and posters around the Columbia and Barnard campuses to promote an upcoming event or awareness of an issue, which usually changes every few weeks. In the past, topics have included the cruelty of horse-drawn carriages, anti-fur, distinguishing between cruel and cruelty-free brands, and ways in which vegetarianism helps our health, our environment, and our animals. -
Leafletting
We have on hand a large variety of stickers, leaflets, and informational booklets which we regularly distribute in Columbia's student dormitories. You could put a sticker or poster on your dorm or bathroom door, or give them out to friends. Get the word out!
If you are interested in helping CSAP promote awareness on campus, email us at cuanimalprotection at gmail.com, join our mailing list, and come to our meetings. We look forward to seeing you!
