Clark:

No.

Q:

I was also thinking of teen-age pregnancies too, within the context of that question.

Clark:

Yes, I was looking at some statistics on teen-age pregnancy, which recently have been coming out, and the United States has the highest percentage of teen-age pregnancy of any of the nations.

Q:

Actually that even includes white teen-age pregnancies, doesn't it? Higher than Sweden and--

Clark:

That's right. And if you exclude blacks and leave only the white teen-age pregnancies, it's substantially higher than the other. Okay. You asked me is this a sign of deterioration? Yes.

Q:

This is part of this condition that you were talking about.

Clark:

Absolutely. That is remedial and is not being remedied. And maybe one of the reasons it's not being remedied is because it's perceived to be just all racial.

Q:

Now you made reference to Ted Kennedy's remarks in quite a recent speech.
