Yes. He was a very frustrating person.

Q:

These walks, as you would give an opinion about them, were cosmetic?

Clark:

I think so. I think so. But people seemed to like it.

Q:

Even without the follow-through.

Clark:

Even without the follow-through. I always thought they liked the television. Every time he walked, he had all this television crew. I always thought the people liked to get into the act with the television.

Q:

Did you ever have any face to face meeting with any of the Kennedys?

Clark:

Not really, no. Not in relationship to Northside Center.

Q:

Including the women, for instance? There was this interest in retardation.

Clark:

No. Never.

Q:

Incidentally, what about the children that come here that are congenitally retarded?

Clark:

We have to refer them out for services. We can't handle
