Who was that, Prince Charles, or Prince Phillip was there?
There were two, great meetings in the yard there--there's a great yard, and there were about 25,000 people. And then all the dignitaries sit up on the stage, which is against the Church, Memorial Church. And the speaker, who made a great hit, was Prince Charles, who was quite amusing. He said: “The last time I spoke to this large crowd was when I was speaking to cattle-herders in India.” And then he went on and said: “Of course, I suppose you think of me as sort of a relic of the past”--trying to think of the exact word he used--it may come to me. But he made a great hit, and he'd written the speech himself. I had heard he had, and you could tell by the way he delivered it that it was his. It was a very serious speech about education.
