No--

Things you decided against or for?

Heiskell:

No. We were involved in the question of inviting the President, whether to do it or not. We were involved in--yes, the major speakers. Yes, we were involved with that.

Q:

Was there any disagreement about any of that?

Heiskell:

Everybody went for Prince Charles in a big way--and they were right. The only thing they regretted was the Princess Di didn't come along--there was real regret about that [laughter]. There was less certainty about George Schultz--

Q:

Who were the other possibilities that were being thought of?

Heiskell:

Mainly foreigners, but then one reason--like Nakasone from Japan--

Q:

He was thought of or he was invited?

Heiskell:

I can't quite remember whether he was invited or not. I know that we have--I don't remember. I do know that we were thinking
