Heiskell:

[pause]. No.

Q:

Is there any--

Heiskell:

It's a magnificent scene. Again, you've got this great stage against Memorial Church, and then you got all the faculty, in all of their robes, and visiting faculty, and their robes, and they come in all color, shapes, so on. It's a great scene, and then you have the Latin oration, and the English oration, by a senior, and singing, the band, everything. It's really quite moving. And all the students come! Unlike many universities, where graduation is nothing--you just send the sheepskin along.

Q:

Is there anything that we haven't talked about, about Harvard, that comes to mind? That you want to comment on?

Heiskell:

Well, you know, in academe--just as in, I guess, any other place where you've got several thousand people--you have the problem of honesty. And we have had what we would call “a dishonest dean”, who was using university money improperly; we have had--

Q:

Was that ever, did that ever get, was that information ever public?

Heiskell:

No.
