Could you tell everything you remember?

Heiskell:

Well, when did Watergate, when was the Watergate break-in? Do you happen to know that? It was after Nixon had been reelected.

Q:

1973.

Heiskell:

1973.

Q:

I don't remember the exact-

Heiskell:

Watergate was in early 1973. The year before Life was still in existence and we, editorally came out for Nixon which caused considerable consternation among a good part of the staff; far from all of it, but a good part.

Who made that decision?
