Today is the Twenty-sixth of February, 1987. We're in the Time-Life Building in New York City. This is Jessica Holland. Would you state and spell your full name?
Andrew Heiskell. H-E-I-S-K-E-L-L.
Okay. We left off the other day talking about presidents. I was wondering if you had had any dealings with Ford. I might have asked you that.
No, you asked me that. The answer was no.
When we cut off you were talking about Carter, and the relationship to the corporation or any meetings--
Well yes. The interesting thing to me about our relationship with Carter was that this very objective, distant, Rock of Gibralter colleague of mine, Hedley Donovan, early in the game when Carter was still governor of Georgia, really took to Carter.
