Who was responsible for pulling together the list of the executive committee?
Urban America, essentially. And I was responsible for for getting them.
Did you try to get King? He was alive. Remember?
I can't remember.
I mean, the black representatives on that certainly were the more centrist ones.
I can't remember whether we got King or not.
Whether you tried to, you mean?
Whether we tried to get him or-not.
Do you remember anybody you asked to the on the executive committee who declined?
No, I don't remember who, but I'm quite sure that that quite a few did.
What was your position on the executive committee? What was your position in the Urban Coalition at it's formation?
