Today is the 2nd of December 1986. We're at 870 UN Plaza. My name is Jessica Holland. Would' you state and spell your full name?
My name is Andrew Heiskell. A-N-D-R-E-W H-E-I-S-K-E-L-L.
Thank you. Why don't we start at the beginning with some of your background. Why don't we start with your mother and father because I think to get to the point of where you were born and your early life we'd better talk about them first. Why don't you start with your father. His name--
Morgan Heiskell, and my mother's name was Ann Heiskell. They were born and brought up in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Both of them?
Both of them. In fact, the grandparents also came from Wheeling, West Virginia, a dull, rather third-rate town by historical accounts, run down, rather crooked, known for its red light district. My father's father was in the wholesale business and my mother's father was a banker. They obviously met in Wheeling.
