patron.

Q:

Did that create a problem among the editorial staff?

Heiskell:

From time to time, but not that serious. Harry got to the point where he really couldn't consider anything unless he was considering it seriously. Going to Harry's apartment at night became sort of an agony, because the minute you sat down he started the proposition that had to be discussed that night. He had obviously thought about it for 24 hours, 48 hours, 64 hours--you hadn't thought about it for one minute. And then it would just go on and on and on, with him “monologuing” more and more.

Q:

Heiskell:

Q:

Heiskell:

Q:

Did he lose his scutter at a particular time?

Heiskell:

No, just gradually.

Q:

Oh, you mean as he got older.
