Q:

Who has taken his place on the United Nations committee?

Lasker:

He was never on anything. He was always just operating from the Population Crisis Committee, which was a committee of people that were devoted to this cause, a small committee.

Q:

And I take it you didn't to Bucharest.

Lasker:

I'm sorry I didn't, but that was more than I could do. It was a two-week meeting.

Seventy-four was a political year. I could give you a list of people I contributed to if you think that's of interest.

Q:

You have in the past.

Lasker:

Some of them won and some of them lost.

Q:

That's always the case.

Lasker:

Some of the names are misspelled I see. Ella Grasso is spelled Ella Grasso, but she won.

Q:

Do you know her personally?

Lasker:

Yes, not well, but I, admire her.

Q:

The list mentioned by Mrs. Lasker will be attached to the text also.
