On November 22nd, Mr. and Mrs. Harding Lawrence gave a really marvelous private/dinner in my honor with a dance.

Q:

Where was that held?

Lasker:

At their apartment on Fast Avenue, with a large group of my friends.

Q:

Was this a birthday party or something?

Lasker:

No, just a party. I don't know, what happened, but that was it. And I gave a holiday party on the 12th of December at my house, and a have a list of people that were there because it makes a picture of the times. Mr. Danny Kaye was mad and didn't come, so I'll cross him name off. He didn't let e know, that he to come in t and there was no room for him at the table.

Q:

How many can you serve at one time for dinner?

Lasker:

Fifty-five or fifty-six.

Q:

In that downstairs dining room.

Lasker:

Yes.
