Well, now what else are we going to talk about?

Q:

You were going to talk about high blood pressure

Lasker:

Let's talk about high blood pressure.

Q:

Right. First in New York state?

Lasker:

Well, in New York state I am extremely disappointed.

Q:

This is a continuation of what you told me last year. That you were disappointed.

Lasker:

Yes, I'm, disappointed. I made friends with the deputy leader in the legislature, in the Assembly -- Mr. Alan Hevesi. He's young, energetic and extremely bright.

Q:

Is he from New York?

Lasker:

He's from New York, and he could see very clearly that New York state could benefit by having greater emphasis on the treatment of high blood pressure. He's on the State Assembly's Health Committee. And he and Tarky Lombardi, a man who is the Senate leader, passed a bill in support of more activity for high blood pressure.
