Tell me a little about Leeds Castle. Any other developments there?
Well, Leeds Castle has had a marvelous year. They had over 146,000 people last year, and they've started a very good year. In May, they had a conference on high blood pressure, supported by Merck, to which my sister went, and Merck gave a contribution to Leeds Castle in addition to paying for the expenses of the conference, and the whole thing is going extremely well.
They had then at that conference representatives from where, from all over the world?
Yes, from all over. I think even from Australia. You know, they had about 25 main doctors.
Well, that's all they can accommodate.
Yes. And then they had some other people from their own offices who weren't able to be accommodated there, who were accommodated outside. But my sister said it was extremely well done, and the whole thing was very effective, and Lord Geoffrey Lloyd enjoyed it, seemingly, and it was a success. Leeds Castle is a big success.
And Alice was representing the Lasker --?
Alice was representing the Lasker Foundation there. (Alice Fordyce, sister) Really, Alice arranged that Merck do it.
