Just music and dancing and lovely food?
Yes, lovely food. One of the most charming things was done this spring - the Swedish Ambassador and his wife, Countess Wachtmeister, gave a dinner for about 40 people, including Senators and Congressmen, at their embassy in my honor - just a social dinner, which was absolutely charming!
Was this a new connection of yours, the Swedish Ambassador?
They are friends of the Blairs, and they really did it to be friendly to the Blairs - because the Blairs are very interested in medical research, and Mrs. Blair herself has become very, very well informed about cancer.
She is your counterpart now, isn't she?
Oh, she is marvelous. Then I went to a fantastic surprise birthday party for Senator Harrison Williams and his wife last winter in Gladstone, N.J. -- I thought I'd never get there, it's about two hours into New Jersey.
I know where it is, down in the southern part. And you did too, because. . .
