Q:

In that area I have another question, and that is: in terms of that drug that you told me about some years ago and which you talked about last year -- and that is that drug that exists which can clean out the blood vessels...

Lasker:

Oh, colostaromane, and it does cause some cleaning up of plaques in vessels. It's very difficult to take.

Q:

You said that the aftereffects or side effects were bad.

Lasker:

The side effects are too hard for most people to take, and something has to be found that will have the same effect but will make it possible for people to take it.

Q:

You said, however, last year that you thought that you should try to induce some of the drug companies to experiment with this existing drug and see if they can't purify it.

Lasker:

Yes. But just unfortunately, my friends in the drug industry just haven't been able to do anything with it so far, but I still have it in mind. I still want to do it, and maybe I can do it with Upjohn.

Q:

Wouldn't that be a key to the statistics on high blood pressure?
