Lasker:

Candles, some electricity but you weren't aware of the electricity. Very charming. And Vanderoamp has been so much the spirit of getting Versailles restored that it's fun to visit him in his home in the palace. He and the architect of Versailles are the only people that live in the palace. He's restored four extra rooms now recently. which are added to his old apartment. Well, those are Just two social notes.

Q:

I'm glad you told me about that, because the European jaunts that you take several times a year are not included in your recollections. You've told me so very little about that aspect. I'm glad you did now.

Lasker:

Well, here, let's see now. I thought maybe I should discuss some legislative notes that I made, what's happened in '66. I don't know whether brought '66 up to date, in legislative notes for '66. Did I finish '66, what had happened in legislation?

Q:

More or less. Largely what you said was dealt with --

Lasker:

Did I give you a memo on what I did. what I left with the President?

Q:

Yes.
