Q:

What is your specific role on this

Mrs. Lasker:

Oh, I'm really there to encourage Dr. Stone and see that the institute gets its fair share of NIH money.

Q:

How many people are involved?

Mrs. Lasker:

About not many.

Q:

How frequently do you meet?

Mrs. Lasker:

Three times a year for about three days. Two and a half days.

Q:

What do you review, appropriations?

Mrs. Lasker:

No, review requests for grants. It's an institute that has, oh, about 170 million dollars worth of grants, total budget of about that. It includes teaching and training grants.
