Oh, I see.

There was a discussion of the Op-Ed page, in which I had been involved -

Q:

But the Op-Ed page had been long established, before -

Oakes:

No. The Op-Ed page was established in 1970, what's the date of the book? was it '71?

Q:

Oh, really, was it (Op-Ed) that recent?

Oakes:

Yes. I can check that date because it's very important (September, 1970). In any case -

That was “The New Feature,” I see.

Oakes:

In any case, it had not been established at the time of this conference in Absecon, New Jersey, which is where most of - where the more dramatic, or some of the drama was played out in conference. Not only there, because there were conversations, in fact, my conversation with the publisher that received a certain amount of notoriety, in which I told him there was “no sabbatical on integrity” and so forth, that took place in New York. But that phrase - incidentally, - I think was edited out -
