Cabinet meetings, I had to press him, you see, about my resignation.

Interviewer:

No, that was all done before.

Perkins:

Oh, that was all before he went to Yalta. That's right.

I don't remember the 23rd. I saw him. Yes, and that was the day he collapsed. No, no--or was it the day he collapsed? I told you about that.

Interviewer:

You told me about his collapsing several times in the past, but not in this period.

Perkins:

He didn't collapse several times--only once, really. I saw him look awfully weak and ill, but this time he really sank down and couldn't sit up. He slumped over, and I rang for the man, and he came right in and Missy LeHand came in.

Interviewer:

When was that?

Perkins:

That probably was before Yalta, then. I think it was--although it's all so mixed up in this period. I saw him before he went. I don't recall about the last Cabinet meeting, but I saw him after the meeting--not in the room, but
