| Volunteers are needed for the PDC 2000 conference sponsored by CPSR. Interested students should contact Dean at the e-mail address listed below with all of their contact info and also let him know if they are interested in providing housing for one of the foreign volunteers. Also, volunteers must register for the conference by following the instructions listed below. Volunteers get to attend the conference and banquet for free (normally $85). Date: Mon, 16 Oct 2000 23:42:40 -0400 To: PDC Volunteers:; From: Dean Nieusma <nieusma@rpi.edu> Subject: registration procedure CC: tcherkasky@sapient.com PDC Volunteers, If you have not already registered, please follow these directions: 1) Download the registration from from the website <www.cpsr.org/conferences/pdc2000>. 2) Fill out your personal information as usual. 3) For "payment computation" put a zero for "conference fee". As a volunteer, you are entitled to a "scholarship" equal to the normal US$85 student conference fee. You must pay for CPSR membership, the tutorial, extra proceedings, or extra banquet tickets should you require any of these. 4) For "check all that apply", check the box "I have requested a scholarship" and write in "STUDENT VOLUNTEER" next to it. 5) Send the form in on or before 20 Oct 2000. I will provide the person responsible for registration a complete list of your names. If you have any problems, contact me first. |
