The Center for Bioethics, Office of Responsible Conduct of Research, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center are pleased to invite you to take part in a free, educational, one-day research ethics conference.

This CME conference is designed for YOU if you are:

  • Involved in any aspect of clinical or behavioral research as an investigator, IRB member, IRB administrator, physician, professor, university official, student, research trainee, etc.
  • Needing to know the most recent regulations and guidelines regarding tissue and data repositories and genetic privacy
  • Concerned with the protection of your electronic data
  • Interested in conducting research as a trainee
  • A student participating as a subject/volunteer in a research study
  • A mentor or planning to be a mentor
  • Seeking practical strategies to effectively manage financial and non-financial conflicts of interest on personal, IRB, and Institutional levels.

Our unique conference features outstanding presenters and will provide the latest, cutting-edge information on tissue and data repositories, privacy and confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and the ethics of conducting research with students/trainees.
