Lieber Herr Professor!

Ja, Blaupapier [written vertically in left margin: (doppelseitiges)]. Es gab auch sehr schönes schwarzes.

Herzl. Gruß!
Ihr

Dear Professor,

Ask for copy booklets, ideally those for agate pens. They are naturally expensive considering the price of paper. There are different companies. I know the ones from the Wuhrmann company to be good. There are also types for two carbon copies (so that you have three copies in all), even [types] for three [carbon copies]. It would be best to let them show you a selection in a good stationery firm. Perhaps you will still find old stock in some store in {recto} a small town. A type of powder bag is desirable, too, though not necessary, in order to guard against smearing. Yes, blue carbon paper [written vertically in left margin: (double-sided)]. There was also very nice black carbon paper.

Warm regards,
Yours,
[ sign’d: ] A. Halm
