Professor Heinrich Schenker, Esq.
currently Gmunden

Most Honored Sir,

In immediate response to your esteemed letter of the 25th inst., we at the same time confirm with gratitude receipt of the returned publisher’s slip1 for the Handel Organ Concertos in four-hand [arrangements].2

At your request, we have ordered one complimentary copy of Ornamentik and one of C.P.E.Bach to be dispatched to each of the designated gentlemen, and enclose a list of same {verso} for your kind inspection.3

The fourteen copies of Ornamentik mentioned in our letter of the 23rd inst. were not sent in error; rather, we sent ten further copies to you, as you requested, at your local address, but received notification that your address of that time was unknown.

Consequently, we have sent these ten copies to your current address in Gmunden and hope that you are in receipt of same.

With kindest regards,
