Herr kaiserl. Rat Weinberger beauftragt mich, Ihnen in vorläufiger Beantwortung Ihrer geschätzten Zuschrift mitzuteilen, dass es ihm nicht möglich ist, die Angelegenheit der Syrischen Tänze1 par distance zu erledigen und bittet Sie, sich damit bis zu seiner Rückkunft gedulden zu wollen, welche in wenigen Tagen erfolgen dürfte.

Imperial Councillor Weinberger instructs me to inform you, in provisional response to your esteemed letter, that it is impossible for him deal with the matter of your Syrian Dances1 from a distance, and asks you kindly to wait for his return, which should be in a few days’ time.
