Lieber H. Prof. v. Cube!

I have just suggested to Weisse1 that he invite you, too, along with Professor Violin in Hamburg2 and Professor Oppel in Kiel and Leipzig3, to the lecture. Violin will definitely be coming; perhaps you too can also show yourself there?4

Who is this Mr Stürmer from Duisburg,5 whose “open letter” to Paul Hindemith6 I happened to read in the October issue of Die Musik? Very strong and effective.7

In the November issue, someone confesses his allegiance to the Urlinie without, however, understanding it.8 {recto} This will take a while longer.

Best greetings,
[ sign’d: ] H. Schenker
