Handwritten postcard from Schenker to Emil Hertzka (UE), dated and postmarked September 16, 1908

Sehr g[ee]hrter Herr Direktor!

H. Dr. Ludwig Karpath1 vom N. W. Tagbl. (IV.

Hochachtung Ihr ergb

Handwritten postcard from Schenker to Emil Hertzka (UE), dated and postmarked September 16, 1908

Dear Director,

Dr. Ludwig Karpath1 of the Neues Wiener Tagblatt (IV, Frankenberggasse) is requesting, through me, the second edition of Ornamentik. He has in fact reviewed Ornamentik in the Neues Wiener Tagblatt not long—a few months—ago; but now has urgent need—I believe the review of the letters of Bülow2—to inspect the second edition and to cite the latter again on this occasion. Please would you very kindly have the booklet sent to him as quickly as possible —he actually[?] works on the "Feuilleton"? With many thanks on his part as well as mine.

With kind regards,
Yours truly,
[ sign’d: ] H. Schenker
