WSLB 208 : 4-29-14

Handwritten letter from Schenker to Hertzka (UE), dated April 29, 1914

Sehr geehrter Herr Direktor !

Anbei retour Fahnen 35–551 !

I[h]r ergebener

Dear Director,

Galley-proofs 35–551 returned herewith! You can see proof-reading is going ahead smoothly and straightforwardly, from which you can safely deduce that despite frightful stress and the regimen prescribed by my doctor I can deal with so many pages in so short a time.

With best wishes,
Yours truly,
[ sign'd: ] H. Schenker
