Just Some Filler for the Chapter Title

Chapters 6-9 deal with design and validation of assessment tools using the process model. Chapter 6 dealt with procedures for specifying the domain for a construct that we might want to measure. The domain (or domain specification) forms a part of the assessment specification. If we follow the process model (see Chapter 5), we would specify the domain in Phase 1. Poorly specified domains obstruct the writing of items or tasks tied to the targeted construct. Chapter 6 provided several guidelines for specifying the domain in order to enhance measurement quality.
