Openings in the Sims Lab

Postdoctoral Research Scientist:

A Postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Peter Sims at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Dept. of Systems Biology. The Sims Lab develops and applies new tools for single-cell analysis using cutting-edge microscopy, microfabrication, computational biology, and next-generation sequencing. There are multiple recently funded projects available involving the use of single-cell genomics to investigate drug response in cancer and in healthy tissues and to characterize tissue-resident immune populations in human tissues. There are also opportunities to develop new technology for single-cell analysis. We are located in the Lasker Biomedical Research Building, a recently renovated, highly collaborative, and interdisciplinary research environment on Columbia’s medical campus in New York City. Scientists with backgrounds in biology, chemistry, physics, computing, and engineering are welcome to apply. To apply, please send a CV and contact information for at least two references to Peter (pas2182 at cumc dot columbia dot edu).
