Individual responsible for overall coordination of the project, presentation, scheduling, and website creation (webmaster)
Oversees the development of digital models, assuring compatibility so that virtual (digital) assemblies can be created from individual part files and manufacturing operations can be implemented. Engages in computational fluid analysis with Shi Ye Hu.
Primary responsibility lies in the creation of the design and to then to support the efforts of the fluids analyst, manufacturing engineer, turbomachinery analyst, and structural analyst.
Held regular meetings with P.I. and research group, connect the separate research of the Design and Manufacturing group with that of the CFD work and Theoretical Efficiency group

Individual who oversees the technical aspects of all the systems which make up the design, verifying the correctness of the computations
Whose primary role is served as the project foundation through rigorous turbomachinery analysis and structural analysis.
- His efforts, allow the designers to pass or rectify the current design based on critical thresholds of failure analysis.
- Typically requiring components to surpase a detailed safety factor and dictating the necessary materials and sizing needed for raw material acquisition, and secondary connective material used for controls and fittings.
Procurement Supervisor, the individual who oversees material acquisitions
Numerical Analyst for motor requirements, structural requirements, boundary layers, and shock propagation.

Individual who coordinates the fabrication and assembly of the developed product and who will become expert in the operation of the manual and CNC machinery
Whose primary purpose is served in the realization of the digital designs through conscious application of computer aided manufacturing and tool path creation for the development of raw material into formal design patterns.
Controls Engineer, the individual responsible for wiring and overseeing the electrical power distribution, understanding the pressure transducer and data acquisition system, its programming capabilities and the control logic inherent in the system.

Student focused in energy analysis who is researching in our group. She acting as a consultant for the group, since this research forms a basis for the larger research [Wave Disc Generator, under P.I. Akbari] group’s goals.
Her contribution is to work with the designer to create the necessary geometries in Gambit and then utilize moving meshes to test the geometries.
- From this, we utilizes values dictated by the design group from the very fundamentals of rotations, inlet and exit conditions, to basic referential dimensioning of geometric modules.
- Her work with the Design team is critical in laying a foundation of design test redesign to find the optimal creation for the project’s goals.
