By all means.
Am I recalling correctly, when Pat Moynihan first ran for the Senate, you came out and endorsed Jim Buckley for re-election?
I sure did.
It made the front page of the NEW YORK TIMES, I believe.
I certainly did.
They considered that important and newsworthy.
And I guess Pat Moynihan never forgave me for that, but that's his problem. Any more than I forgave him for “benign neglect”. And being the House liberal of the Nixon administration. See, I'm not a politician. TAPE THREE, SIDE ONE
