Clark:

-- Adam might have been afraid of himself.

Q:

Do you think so?

Clark:

He might have been, yeah. Adam probably wasn't as secure inside as he seemed outside. (That's the psychologist talking.)

Q:

I learned one other thing about him. When I represented TV, and especially came around, either I had a crew or he knew I had a show spot, he was available and punctual. When I came around with a HARPERS MAGAZINE assignment, he said he didn't have time to give me. That's supposed to be in my memoir, Dr. Clark, not yours. But more people are going to look at it here.

I was asking you sometimes off tape about other possible names. I think you mentioned Louis Martin in Chicago as a top news person.

Clark:

Absolutely.

Q:

Heads up a publishing enterprise there.

Clark:

And Bob Carter.

Q:

Bob Carter. Is he a Judge now?

Clark:

Yes, he's a judge now, up at?

Q:

James Dumpson?

Clark:

James Dumpson.
