and it didn't particularly help fund-raising or enticing other academics to come to the institution, or anything.
Did members of the board have a discussion with her about it?
Yes. The chairman had plenty of discussions about it. And first he left, and then she left, in rather quick succession. And she is now selling real estate in Kansas City!
With him?
No. No. They separated; she remarried, I think, and divorced. And I don't know, I saw him at some Harvard event a while back.
Who was the man, if it was a public--
Parker. His name is Parker. I'm trying to remember what his first name was.
Oh, the husband was Parker.
The husband was Parker. Yes. It was “the Parkers”--we hired the Parkers.
[laughter] So you had to search for somebody after that?
