Yes.

Q:

[Laughter].

Heiskell:

Yes. And a very presentable couple from Harvard became pretty close to being our choice. But a lot of argument about it--well, I don't think she had adequate academic degrees, or something, and would he really fit in as the sort of business partner for her. And we had really lengthy and serious discussions, to the point where finally one of the three academic members of the search committee said: “I won't have anything to do with it. I'm against this, and that's that.” And he walked out!

So, we hired Gail Parker and her husband, and six months later, the professor who walked out, and Gail Parker, are rolling in the hay! With the husband sort of peering around the corner [laughter]. Presented somewhat of a problem.

Q:

Is there a connection here? Is that why he walked out of the committee? He didn't know Gail Parker at that point.

Heiskell:

No.

Q:

Oh, I see. Go ahead.

Heiskell:

Well, no. No, no, no. This all happened subsequently, and caused quite a bit of consternation, because it was a public affair--it was not a private affair. It was a very public affair,
