will not be remembered for having ever accomplished anything very spectacularly good. Who, would there be any others, any other exceptions?

Well, we recently mentioned Sloan would be an exception. And I suppose Henry Ford will, the Fords will be remembered. But of course, if your product is the same as your name it gives you an historical leg up as far as memory is concerned.

Q:

What about entertainment figures. Particularly I would think through your marriage to Madelline Carrol. Have you known-

Heiskell:

We didn't have anything to do with it. Very little to do with the entertainment world. She pretty well quit the entertainment business. She did some television. She didn't do a movie, she didn't, I don't know. It was just television, a few television shows. I can't even remember them. So, I didn't really get to know anybody much in that field.

Q:

Do you want to talk about her at all? As a public figure, having been a famous actress?

Heiskell:

Yes, well she wasn't very much a public figure anymore.

Q:

She was-what was the height of her career, in the Forties?

Heiskell:

Yes, Thirties.
