position on the foundation board?
O.K. Yesterday you said--in other words, did you ever as
C.E.O.--I'm continuing this line just for one--did you ever as C.E.O
do anything or act differently or consult anybody because of stock
ownership in Time Inc.?
I don't think so. I can't remember doing it.
Okay. Yesterday you said there were two words--two phrases you
didn't like. So just why won't you tell me why you didn't like them.
One of them was “bottom line.”
Oh, because “bottom line” has a connotation that the only
thing that counts is bottom line, and I feel that there are a lot of
